Working closely with a family who has mastered the art of marble craftsmanship for generations. We have produced a small series of marble crates. 

These crates resembling the market fruit and vegetable wood crates. The iconic wood crate is and always has been the foundation of moving produce from the land to the marketplace. 

This iconic silhouette of non design origin reminds us of the notion of transport, carrying and showcasing other things. 

Now celebrating the ancient form and material. 

Marble crates exists as a base for you and your favourite objects in your habitual environment .

This is a Special Project. Made only in very small editions of found Onyx paired with white Carrara and grey Bardiglio Marble.

A true collaboration between the material, the machine, Trine Guldager  and the 80 year old marble artiste, who puts it all together.
